Yesterday's Inequality here! Chess: present day chess started in the latter part of the 15th Century and evolved from the game Shatranj. Shatranj dates back to the 3rd century. Checkers: also known as draughts, this game has possible origins in Egypt around 4000 B.C. However, the earliest dated manual for this game didn't come until 1549.
