Beef > or < Chicken

Beef: The U.S. beef industry is worth an estimated $175 billion. Cattlemen run over 800,000 individual farms and ranches.

Chicken: Americans consume on average, over 8 billion chickens a year. Probably why there are more chickens in the world than any other domesticated bird.

    With over 300 million people in the US, 8 million chickens seems a little light . . . might want to check your facts on that one :)
