Elevator > or < Escalator?

Yesterday's Inequality here!

Elevator: The "Otis" seen on many elevators stands for Elisha Otis who invented the first passenger elevator in 1853.

Escalator: There are about 35,000 escalators in operation in the U.S. each servicing around 12,000 people a year.

  1. Whoa . . . I can't believe that a whopping 12,000 people per year use escalators. I have already used several this year so I must be special :)

Check your facts . . . dumb ass!
