Country > or < Rap?


Yesterday's Inequality here!

Country: Country music as it's known today originated from two regional styles; the Southeast (country music) and the West (western music). They coincided sometime in the 1920s and became what we now know as Country-Western music.


Rap: Starting sometime in the 1970s as hip hop, rap music is poetry accompanied by a beat. "Gangsta rap" later stemmed from hip hop and was made popular by N.W.A.
