Chipotle > or < Qdoba?

Yesterday's Inequality here!

Chipotle is a fast food Mexican grill restaurant that makes burriots, fajita burritos, burrito bowls, tacos, and salads. Their name comes from the Mexican Spanish name for a smoked, dried chili pepper.

Qdoba is a fast food Mexican grill restaurant chain owned by Jack in the Box. Their main menu consists of burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and salads.

  1. Chipotle's lime cilantro rice makes this decision a no brainer.

  2. Shelly, by "no brainer" you mean "no gustatory cortex," right? That's the only way that comment makes any sense.

Qdoba's chicken queso burrito carries the day here. In fact, I may have to go get one right now.

  4. So I understand that Chipotle has this whole "simple" thing going on. And that's cool. But really...no queso? You can't NOT have queso. And they don't. And its not just Chipotle's LACK of queso - its that Qdoba has fan-fucking-tastic queso.

  5. I have never been to Chipotle either and the Qdoba I have been to wasn't horrible . . . so my vote goes Qdoba.
