Target > or < Walmart?

Yesterday's inequality here!

Target is an American retailing company founded in 1902, the first Target store opening in 1962. Target has 1,743 stores and is in every state but Vermont. Regular Target stores carry clothing, general merchandise, electronics, sporting goods, toys, shoes, and instruments. Most also have a Target Cafe, Starbucks, pharmacy and photo center. Super Targets have groceries, alcohol, and most have an optical center. Differentiating itself from Walmart, Target is consistently voted as one of the most philanthropic companies in the US.

Walmart is an American corporation founded in 1962 by Sam Walton. Walmart has 8,500 stores in 15 different countries. Most Walmarts carry clothing, groceries, general merchandise and electronics. They also include garden centers, pharmacy, tire & lube, optical center, one-hour photo, picture studio, and sometimes even a bank branch, cell phone store, or fast food place.

  2. Really! We would of bought so much booze with kyle's gift card had I known that. Are you sure because I've never seen it there.

  3. Oh I just read the description for target. The part where it says "alcohol". Shelly, you need to stop with these damn spoilers.

  4. Hahaha! That's so sad, DC. I can't imagine that gift card was used for anything better than booze. But yes, I am sure. It's usually one lane amongst the grocery type items. They have a better selection of alcohol in the Super Targets, though.

Wal-Mart IS evil and creepy. The people you usually find shopping there are overweight, have too many kids at too young of an age, and are angry shopping. Target is super sleek, full of awesome clothes and merch, and is just a much friendlier environment in general.
