Scorpion
is an immortal ninja that, depending on the game, wields a broadsword, ninja sword, and axe.

Best signature moves:
The Bloody Spear (GET OVER HERE!).
Hellfire Teleport Punch (ground or aerial).
Fire Breath (removes mask to reveal flaming skull and spit fire).
Hellfire (summons fires from hell).

Best fatality:
Toasty! (removes mask to reveal flaming skull and breathes fire at opponent, burning them alive and causing them to explode).

Sub-Zero is a mortal human that, depending on the game, wields an ice scepter or Kori blade.

Best signature moves:
Ice Blast (temporarily freezes opponent for a free hit).
Slide (slide on ice, knocking opponent to the floor).
Ice Shower (shoots ice straight overhead which falls atop opponent).
Ground Ice (freezes the ground and makes opponent temporarily slip all over).

Best fatality:
Spine Rip (punches into an opponent's neck and tears out spine and skull).

Both are one of the few remaining original characters.

Sub-Zero murdered Scorpion, but being immortal, Scorpion returned to avenge his death. He is successful and kills the elder Sub-Zero; however, Sub-Zero's younger brother returns in his place to continue battle.

  1. yea Scorpion is badass, especially since he's immortal. But Sub-Zero freezes bitches, AND he killed Scorpion in the first place. Probably with an ice blast and sweet upper-cut. Nod to Sub-Zero here.

  3. It was mentioned, but all you really needed here was 3 words to determine superiority:

    1) Get.
    2) Over.
    3) Here.

  4. I wish almost daily that I could perform the "Get Over here" signature move followed by a good bitch slap.

  5. If Reptile isn't an option I have to go with Scorpion. "Get over here" is just too classic. -Jacob

  6. The spine rip is bad-ass, and pretty much the best fatality in any Mortal Kombat. Sub-Zero FTW!
